Position: Clinical Director
Qualifications: BVSc, MRCVS
Our clinical director Mark is responsible for the day to day running of the hospital and our out of hours emergency service. Mark also conducts most of our CT scanning procedures as he is the most experienced at operating our new 64 slice Toshiba CT Scanner.
Mark graduated from Sydney University in 1983 and after a brief time in mixed veterinary practice moved to London and worked in a central London small animal veterinary clinic for 7 years before returning home. He returned to London in 2010 and spent a year locating a suitable site and then planning and building Clerkenwell Animal Hospital as it is today.
Clerkenwell Animal Hospital is slightly different than was originally envisaged as we are both a general first opinion veterinary practice and also a second opinion referral veterinary practice. We offer a wide range of specialist services to our own clients and accept many referrals from other London veterinary practices.
You might have seen or met Mark's dogs Condo and Zozo either in the park, waiting patiently outside Pret or at the practice where they love to meet and greet as many people as possible.
The hospital occupies most of Mark's waking hours and is something to which all our staff are obviously strongly committed. We endeavour to provide the best, most knowledgeable and kindest level of professional service we can and we are all grateful for the wonderful mixed group of caring pet owners who we see day in day out, 365 days a year.
