If you are planning to travel abroad with your pet, either on a temporary basis (such as a holiday) or to relocate, you will need to make sure your pet has the correct documents and medication beforehand. The Pet Travel Scheme (PETS)* is a system that allows pets to travel in Europe without the need for quarantine. Only vets that are approved under the scheme can provide you with the necessary travel documentation. At Clerkenwell Animal Hospital we have a number of official veterinarians.
Make sure you think well ahead and research the specific requirements of the country you are going to. We can then help you with any vaccinations, blood tests and documents which may be required.
